Our Story

Lym's Ricebowl was first established in 2012 by three loving sisters offering home cooking made with love. Lym's was admired by all who visited. Due to old age (78, 79 & 81), the three sisters decided to halt their business for a while.

Between 2016-2024, Lym's Ricebowl reopened as "Lym's" but was loaned out to various operators. Unfortunately, it was not run with the same mentality which caused the standards of the restaurant to fall dramatically.

 

Today, with the return of Lyn and Pui from living in the UK, it was time to resurrect and restore Lym's back to its old pinnacle.

To become the best on the island by offering authentic Thai and quality Western Cuisine. Stop by at Lym's for a scrumptious meal and excellent service.

Customer satisfaction was overlooked by previous management, but now is our top priority.​

We also strongly believe that food safety and cleanliness should be held in high regard for all food businesses. Our kitchens are well equipped with staff ensuring that all food that is served is cooked properly and clean. We use high quality ingredients, local is possible, while avoiding the use of ingredients that may impose health risks such as MSG. This compromises taste but rest assured its safe!

 

With the aim of becoming a green hotel/restaurant by 2025, we will restrict the use and sale of single use plastics with proper waste management in place. We promote the use of sustainable materials and local ingredients throughout our entire business practice.
